DU Beat
India's largest student-run newspaper, DU Beat, commands an impressive online and offline presence. As head of design, I undertook a design overhaul of the entire brand and paper. The focus of the revamp was on modernity and legibility, as the paper had to shift from a physical to a digital release system. The revamp included gradients instead of solids, and open-source sans-serif fonts.
DU Beat's Instagram page became the primary focus during the pandemic, and a large part of my responsibilities involved creating and maintaining a consistent visual aesthetic. While the organisation has gone through a number of design changes since my tenure, a strong colour code and typographical ecosystem persist.
